Lionel Messi has reportedly agreed to join Inter Miami in what looks like a radical u-turn from a potential move to Saudi Arabian club side Al Hilal.
While a move to Barcelona was also on the table, reports on Wednesday said that he has shifted gears to MLS side, according to several reports including ESPN.
Messi, 35, is due to become a free agent when his contract at PSG expires on June 30
The French champions had earlier announced last week that the world cup winner who moved to Parc des Princes in 2021, will not remain at the club beyond the end of his deal.
The move to Inter Miami is also commercially driven like that of Al Hilal. Meanwhile, a return to Spain will only mean Messi is fulfilling an emotional drive.
