Subsidy: Fuel Marketers, Depot Operators To Roll out 100 Mass Transit Buses To Support Masses

The Depots and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria (DAPPMAN) on Wednesday pledged support to the Federal Government to support her decision on removal of subsidy on Petrol.

The Association led by it’s President, Dame Winifred Akpani and Former President, Governor Dapo Abiodun while visiting the President, Bola Tinubu pledged support to the Government and promised Locally manufactured Compressed Natural Gas Buses.

The Association’s Chairperson said, “it has been long overdue, the idea of subsidy removal, subsidy itself is not about making fuel costly but it’s about getting it right on the real issue of petroleum products subsidy.

While addressing the Journalists, she continued, “we also address alongside the President , the substitutes to petrol as well as creating an environment conductive for investments to thrive in the Oil Sector “.

Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun state described Subsidy Removal as a bold step for positive economic growth in the Country.
