Yakubu Danladi reelected as Kwara State House of Assembly speaker

Engr. Salihu Yakubu Danladi has been elected as the Speaker of the Kwara State House 10th Assembly.

Danladi, 38 was elected by the members of the House at the inauguration which was held on Tuesday at the House of Assembly complex.

Hon. Halidu Danbaba (Kaiama/Wajibe) had moved the motion for the nomination of Danladi and was seconded by Hon. Arionla Lawal (Ilorin East)

Danladi was the Speaker of the 9th Assembly and was unanimously reelected to lead the House for another republic.

Yakubu-Danladi was born in Gwanara, Baruten Local Government of Kwara State on May 31st 1985 into the family of Salihu Gwanara.

His early education began in 1988 at BLGEA Primary School where he earned First School Leaving Certificate 1993.

Yakubu Danladi attended St Anthony Secondary School, Ilorin finishing with a Senior Secondary Certificate Examination in 2001. He attended Kaduna Polytechnic College where he received a National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering between 2003 and 2008.

In 2016, Yakubu-Danladi earned B.Eng in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from Federal University of Technology, Minna.

He was a lecturer in the same University before he resigned to contest to represent his people in 2019.

Yakubu Dandadi was therefore sworn in by the Clerk of the House, Hajia Halimah Jummai Kperogi

In the same vein, Hon. Ojo Olayiwola Oyebode of Odo-Ogun Constituency was elected as the Deputy Speaker and sworn in afterwards
