Guinness world record yet to speak as Chef Dami completes 120-hour cooking marathon

Damilola Adeparusi, the Nigerian chef from Ekiti State has finally completed her 120-hour cooking marathon attempt.

Damilola announced this via her Twitter page in the early hours of Wednesday.

“120hrs done! I want to appreciate you all for your support emotionally, financially, physically & spiritually… If not for you guys I wouldn’t be able to achieve this,” she wote. 

However, the Guinness World Records (GWR) is yet to acknowledge her attempt to break the world cooking record.

Damilola’s completion of the cooking marathon comes hours after the GWR officially certified Hilda Baci as holder of the record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.

The young chef who commenced her cooking marathon on June 9 and became a viral sensation ever since then.
