The Oyo Police Command has recovered four locally made guns which include four single barrel firearms and two double barrel pistols and shells of unexpended and live catridges from 19 crime suspects.

As part of measures to improve on its drive in providing adequate security for lives and properties, the Oyo state Police Command today paraded 19 crime suspects comprising of one female connected with various criminal activities in the state.

The suspects were nabbed at their various hideouts during police special crackdown on criminal elements in the state.
Other valuable items recovered from the suspects include phones, gold chains, wrist watches, sickle knife, cutlass, substances suspected to be Indian hemp valued at over 3 million naira, Colorado, assorted native charms, and other hard substances.
Addressing journalists today at the State Police Command in Eleyele, Ibadan, the State Police Public Relation Officer (PPRO), SP Adewale Osifeso said investigations are still ongoing to crackdown on others who may be connected with the suspects in their criminal activities for necessary prosecution.
Some of the suspects who spoke with journalists admitted to have committed the crime.
