President Bola Tinubu on Friday met with Niger Delta Activist, Asari Dokubo at the presidential villa, Abuja.
It would be recalled that the Dokubo supported Tinubu’s presidential ambition as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate at thr just concluded election.
Dokubo has also backed some of the policy thrust of the Tinubu presidency since his assumption of office.
“If Ahmed Bola Tinubu fails, hold me responsible. I am unapologetic,” Dokubo said recently.
“I have known him since 1992 and I know what he stands for, and can stand in the gap between him and the people and say this.
“This is a step (subsidy removal) my brother Goodluck failed to take when he had the opportunity.
“The same step Buhari could not take and Tinubu took it from his first day at the office.”
Tinubu has meeting with various groups and stakeholders since he assumed office on May 29.
