Damilola Yusuf: A Goldfish in the pond of Gov. Abdulrazaq’s second tenure

The consolidation of the first tenure’s achievements of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq will get underway in a few days when he rolls out portfolios for the new commissioners who have now been screened and confirmed by the Kwara State House of Assembly.

One of the nominees that stands tall in the pack of the commissioners-designate and to-be State executive council members is Damilola Yusuf.

Damilola, not only made the list by the virtue of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq’s zeal for youth inclusion in governance, but her capacity and sagacity amongst other qualities placed her strategically for such an opportunity.

As a Governor whose cabinet is majorly constituted by youths, it’s no doubt that the nomination of Damilola also represents the gender balance approach of the Governor as he demonstrated in his first tenure.

Widely traveled and highly connected, Damilola’s capacity as a business executive will definitely count in any portfolio she is assigned to manage.

No doubt, her cognate experience as one of the Directors at Kam Holdings Company will come to bear in discharging her duties as a member of the state executive council.

As someone who has had productive dealings with Business moguls, her experience in boardroom affairs will, in no small measure, do the state a great deal of service as a Commissioner.

Giving her network and connections, the nomination of Damilola can only be best described as Goldfish in the pond as the Governor sets out for the second tenure.
Damilola, despite her privileged background, represents the best of breeds and an example to all her peers.

As a Business Strategist and investment expert who had most of her Education abroad, the former board member of Harmony holdings limited and top brass at the reputable KPMG company is indeed up and fit for the job.
