Mobilize to Site or Risk Contract Termination, FG Warns Road Contractors

The Federal Government has issued a stern warning to road contractors across the country, emphasizing the urgency of mobilizing to their respective project sites or facing the termination of their contracts.

This directive comes amidst growing concerns over the delays and setbacks affecting numerous road construction and rehabilitation projects nationwide.
The Minister of Works, who conveyed this message, underscored the government’s commitment to infrastructure development as a critical component of national growth and development.

He pointed out that several road projects, which are vital for economic activities and the movement of goods and services, have been stalled due to contractors’ failure to mobilize to the sites promptly.
