Kwara NDLEA Commander now Assistant Commander General

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has elevated the Commander of Kwara State Command of the agency, Mohammed Bashir Ibrahim, to the rank of Assistant Commander General of Narcotics.
The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the agency, Retired Brigadier General Buba Marwa, decorated Ibrahim with his new rank at the National Headquarters of the agency in Abuja.
The newly promoted Assistant Commander General also received an Award of Excellence on behalf on his Command in recognition of the outstanding performance of the command in Drug Demand Reduction.
The inscription on the award indicated that Kwara command of NDLEA emerged as co-winner in Drug Demand Reduction for this year.
The award is at the instance of the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of NDLEA designed to acknowledge the performance of each state command of the agency in the fight against abuse and trafficking of hard drugs.
“Chairman/CEO Award of Excellence presented to Kwara State Command in recognition of your outstanding performance as co-winner in Drug Demand Reduction July, 2024”, the inscription on the award read.
