The Gamji Members Association (GAMA) and the National League of Veteran Journalists (NALVEJ), have congratulated a veteran journalist, media personality and community leader, Alhaji Mohammed Tunde Akanbi on his 65th birthday.
GAMA, an association devoted to the promotion of the ideals of the late Sardauna of Sokoto, Sir Ahmadu Bello; and NALVEJ rejoiced with Akanbi on his birthday in separate congratulatory messages.
Akanbi is the president general of GAMA and chairman of NALVEJ in Kwara State.
GAMA in a message signed by its director of publicity, Alhaji Abdullahi Olesin, described Akanbi as a quintessential and an ideal leader.
The association hailed the celebrant’s passion for community service as preached and practised by the late Sir Ahmadu Bello.
It prayed Allah to grant the celebrant many more years to enable him continue his valuable services to his immediate community, Ilorin, Kwara State and humanity in general.
In its message, NALVEJ thanked Allah for the purposeful life being lived by Akanbi.
It expressed delight that Akanbi has in the last four years restored life into the league of veteran journalists in the state, praising him for his concern for the welfare of the members of the league at all times.
NALVEJ, in a statement signed by its publicity secretary, Alhaji Abdullahi Olesin asked Allah to continue to guide the celebrant alright and grant him long life and abundant prosperity.
