Kwara Government inaugurates election petition tribunal committee

The Kwara State Government on Thursday, sworn in six magistrates as election petition tribunal committee ahead of the September 21st local government polls.

The committee are categorized into two with Chief Magistrate Bio Saliu chairing one and Chief Magistrate Abubakar Ndakele chairing the other.

Members of the committee are Muhammed Kola Aluko, Adeniyi Moses, Adebola Feyisayo and Abdulhamid Olatunji.

The Chief Judge of the state, Justice Abiodun Adebara during the swearing-in ceremony, charged the committee members to uphold integrity and competence, emphasising that they should execute their responsibilities with diligence and impartiality by eschewing all forms of corruption.

The Chief Judge stressed that the chairmen of the committee with their members should remember they are ministers in the temple of justice by ensuring all cases are dealt with speedily.

The Prime News reports that the Chief Judge assures those who will be appearing before the committee a professionally attention.
