Kwara State Government, under the leadership of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has released the prototype of the multi-storey hospital complex it is constructing at the Civil Service Clinic to ensure the residents of the state have access to quality and timely healthcare.
The Governor AbdulRazaq-led administration commenced the construction of the state-of-the-art hospital complex a few months ago to meet the rising need for quality secondary health services of its increasing population in the state’s capital.
The multi-storey hospital complex, which will wipe off the existing structure for a bigger and more accommodating structure, will help reduce the number of residents that visit the General Hospital Ilorin, now Kwara State University Teaching Hospital, for health reasons and services.
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s huge investment in the health sector in the last five years hasn’t only improved the quality of health services in the state but has also drawn commendations for him from well-meaning Kwarans and health workers.
In 2023, His Excellency Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq approved the payment of new hazard and skipping allowances to medical doctors, including 100% CONMESS to encourage health workers. In addition, he has fixed several of the hospitals he met in sordid conditions when he resumed office in 2019.
