The Fidau for the repose of the soul of Imam Mustapha Ogo Oluwa Kure will hold on Monday, November 18, 2024.
The prayer for the departed Cleric which will be held at the family compound, Kure Ahmeda, Ita Ajia, Gambari area of Ilorin and will be led by Sheikh Sharafdeen Saadudeen Ajara along with other top clerics and the time is 10am.
Imam Mustapha was a reputable preacher who was an active figure in the spreading of the Islam faith in Otta , Ogun State, where he was well known for his preaching through various Islamic activities.
He had a mosque in the Oju Ore area of Otta where he led other Muslims as their Imam for several years before old age forced him to return to his country home in Ilorin after almost five decades of sojourn.
Imam Mustapha will be remembered for his simple lifestyle and commitment to the tenets of Islam and laws of Almighty Allah (SWT).
He died on Wednesday, November 13, after having his prayers for the day at the age of 86.
He is survived by his wives, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
