A foremost industrialist and Group Managing Director of Kam Holding Limited, Dr Kamoru Yusuf, has mourned the passing of the Chief of Staff to Kwara State Governor, Prince Mahe Abdulkadir.
Yusuf, who identified the deceased Ilorin Emirate Prince as a rare gem, said his transition was tragic and painful in a time like this.
This was contained in a condolence message the Kam Holding GMD issued and made available to Journalists in Ilorin on Sunday.
He described Prince Mahe as a great asset and dependable ally in the cabinet of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, adding that his exit has created a big vacuum in the governance of the state.
Yusuf commiserated with Governor AbdulRazaq, his cabinet members, the Emir of Ilorin, Dr Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, and the bereaved family over what he identified as unfortunate loss of the former Chief of Staff, Government House, Ilorin.
He noted that Prince Mahe typified humility, knowledge and deep intellect, who contributed his quota to the development of the state throughout his earthly sojourn and prayed the Almighty Allah to repose his soul.
“Prince Mahe Abdulkadir was a rare gem and his departure has created a big vacuum in the cabinet of Governor AbdulRazaq. Even though death is inescapable, his exit in a time like this is tragic and painful.
“In our estimation of him, he was a great asset and dependable ally in the administration of Governor AbdulRazaq. This is an individual that personified humility, knowledge and deep intellect, and he would surely be missed, because he stood tall among his contemporaries.
“While condoling the Governor, Emir of Ilorin, state cabinet members and family members of the Ilorin Emirate deceased prince, our prayer is that the Almighty Allah forgive his earthly shortcomings as a mortal and repose his soul”, Kam Holding Chief said.
