Mukadam Quawiy Olododo, An Erudite Muslim Scholar of our time

As Ramadan year 2025 enters the last (10) ten days with high intensity for prayers, sacrifices, alms giving and supplication, muslims working round to sight the night of Majesty (Lailatul Qodir) the last ten (10) days of Ramadan, when Almighty Allah accept and grant wishes and desires, Yaa Allah count me & other beneficiaries, and make us a better believer to practice the Deen better with your Rahman and blessings (Bijahi Rossulluahi, Amiin). While other Muslims that cannot take flight to the United Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Ummrah are taking time for seclusion (Itikaf) back home. May Almighty Allah accept our prayers supplications, sacrifices & lbadat, Amiin.

Truly, Muslims have undergo spiritual cleansing and rebirth, that enable them to come closer to their Creator this 30 days.

Engr. Abdulqawiy Olododo, a Muslim scholar, professional engineer & mukadam, the Honorable Commissioner for Works as imbibed lessons of Ramadan over the years while making it a way life.

This last 10 days of fasting reflects prominently in the lifestyle of the Honorable Commissioner – in comportment, carriage and discipline. A closer look at the activities of the Honorable Commissioner shows that he has not only imbibe the tenet of Islam at Ramadan but has solemnly followed Islamic injunctions & instructions of Prophet Muhammed (SAW) in thoughts and prayers.

He has donated freely to orphanage homes, the vulnerable groups, the needy, the widowers, the less privileged and other basic needs to alleviate their sufferings and care. Engr. Abdulqawiy Olododo has demonstrated an uncommon and remarkable leadership style which earned him respect from all and sundry.

For people in government like the Honorable Commissioner to be soberly reflected during this Ramadan period, it calls for recognition and lesson to all and sundry that nothing as important as being humble in the presence of your creator and be a helper to brothers and sisters in the society in any way you can be of assistance.

This is a very important lesson for the Muslims Ummah and a takeaway from Ramadan year 2025 from different Ulamas/Muslim scholars that have delivered different sermons that have impacted positively into our daily life.

A lot of religious radio programs had been aired and heard, interactive sessions, Tasfir gatherings and drama sketches with quiz competition all to reinvigorate Islam and its teachings in the minds of our people while making it a way of life even after Ramadan.

For the young dynamic and promising politician Engr. Abdulqawiy Olododo, he sums it up, thus, “Ramadan season serves as a platform to interact with one another, emphasizing, the spirit of love and forgiveness associated with the Ramadan season should be exemplified by all”.

The Honorable Commissioner stated further, “kudos to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, Chairman Nigeria Governor’s Forum (NGF) and Sardauna of Ilorin Emirate for giving Kwara state a sense of hope and direction especially in infrastructural transformation and being at the fore front in realizing the food security agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu”.

Engr. Abdulqawiy Olododo puts on the virtues of honesty, dedication, hard work, integrity and fear of Almighty Allah in all his state assignments. Great mind changing the narratives through state duties, projects & other responsibilities assigned to him by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and making waves in this generation. A very reliable and trustworthy person of good character with sense of loyalty, he will be celebrated on a higher pedestal, Insha Allah, Amin.

For Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq to have considered Engr. Abdulqawiy Olododo for a such sensitive position is a strong determination of faith and confidence in his ability to deliver and family background.As the Ramadan draws to an end, this journalist pray like many others for Engr. Abdulqawiy Olododo that may Allah (SWT) increase him in holiness, piety, righteousness, Godliness and inherit Allah blessings and mercies in the land of living.
