Sa’adatu Modibbo Kawu: A noble woman of our time

A woman of noble character as described by the biblical esthamatology, she is a feminine accolade in the epilogue of King Solomon’ imparting wisdom.

The full verse, which starts the epilogue section, asks, “A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies” it goes on to describe numerous lofty attributes of this woman, from wise and God-fearing to enterprising and intelligence.

By asking who can find this “missis of noble character” implies this woman is a rarity. As well, by noting she is worth far more than rubies tells us she is extraordinarily valuable. A woman of noble character” is valuable, precious, rare, and highly desirable.

The above analogies of mine is likened cum describes the nobility and cerebral witty of the Kwara State Hon. Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Hajia Sa’adat Modibbo Kawu, a public servant of note.

Currently serving as the Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Hajia Sa’adatu Modibbo Kawu continues to drive transformative change. Her focused approach to improving education, addressing the challenge of out-of-school children, training and re- training of teachers and enhancing teachers’ welfare and capacity development has already begun yielding positive results.

Hon. Sa’adatu Modibbo Kawu exemplifies the kind of innovative, dedicated leadership that Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq led administration strives to cultivate. Her consecutive awards, both at state and national levels, reflect not just personal achievements but the progressive direction of our government in Kwara State.

Hon. Sa’adatu Kawu without micing words is an epitome of motherhood, has been exceptional and people-oriented right from when her first term as Honourable Commissioner. She always gave a good account of herself in all the positions of trust and responsibility that she has held not just in terms of performance but also in creating a favourable image for the Governor and his administration.

Hajia Sa’adatu Kawu, is a role model to many youth groups in Kwara State and beyond, and her motherly advice and support have been enormous. Hence, she is seen as an epitome of motherhood, pillar of support and beacon of light to many.

The two times Hon. Commissioner for Tertiary Education in Kwara State, good looking Hajia Sa’adatu Modibbo, one of the well travelled commissioners in the APC led administration in Kwara State, very experienced, patient, listening, result oriented and motherly in all her approach is a cynosure of public focus.

Her antecedents, activities and comportment, avidly show her servitude to Almighty Allah. She has been rotated within two (2) Ministries, Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development & Tertiary Education, since coming on board in 2019.

This charming lovely personality has rekindled her courage, confidence, trust and humility in her Boss. Her track records as a public servant confirm that her character, doggedness, sincerity of purpose cannot be underestimated. A great grassroot mobiliser, an avid loyalist, webbs with integrity and humility that is infectious.

Well loved by her people has she has been described in many quarters as youth friendly and one of the most easily accessible, APC ambassador in Kwara State. I have been privileged to have rapture severally with her since her first appointment in the early life of this impactful/APC led administration.

An amiable politician of note, she is vast in coordinating programs devoid of blemish. The passion with which she handles all assignments entrusted to her is extremely incredible.

The Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mall. Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq in several public fora described her as a trusted fellow, amiable character, loyal and lover of humanity.

Just recently during the graduation ceremony of the student pilots of International Aviation College, Ilorin, Hajia Sa’adatu Modibbo Kawu stand in for her boss Mall. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON. She brought to bear her experience and exposure, affirming that the governor is committed to funding Tertiary Education properly to enable them deliver on their mandates.

She added that the active support received from the State Government was a topnotch which culminated into sound training, discipline and exposure received by student pilots. Modibbo Kawu assured that the APC led administration under the wise guidance of Governor AbdulRahman Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq will continue to provide enabling environment, more knowledge impactors with Training and Re-training programs for proper training, alluding that Intentional Aviation College, Ilorin will continue to be a Centre of Excellence for Aviation Training.

She lauded the Student Pilots and assured them of greater heights in their chosen career, wishing them a blue sky and safe landing at all times. The Honourable Commissioner for Tertiary Education, thanked the management of International Aviation College, Ilorin for being steadfast in the delivering of their core mandates and assured them that the state government will continue to do the needful to take the college to a commendable level, despite lean financial resources while admonishing them to continue to justify the confidence reposed in them.

In recent past, I have worked tirelessly as a media consultant on educational Public Relations and image branding for Higher Institutions in Kwara State, I found out that Hajia Sa’adatu Modibbo Kawu, Honourable commissioner for Tertiary Education is well coordinated, pleasant character, beauty with brain, who ensures a more robust and effective interface with the college managements, thereby enhancing public trust, free flow of information that encourages feedback and accountability alongside confidence in the system.

No doubt Hajia Sa’adatu Modibbo Kawu will continue to function as a locomotive train between Mr. Governor and all state owned institutions, to enhance abiding faith and effective functionality. She remains purposeful and deeply committed to enviable mandate of His Excellency, piloting the state with a life of service and passion that speaks volume with total commitment and patriotism.

She is the wife of Mallam Modibbo Kawu, an erudite journalist and administrator. A man of wisdom and candum who inspired many with his hardwork, pleasant character and discipline.
