Bride arrives UNILORIN in wedding dress to take her final exam

A video of the epic moment the bride rushed to her exam hall was shared on TikTok by her elder sister, who offered more explanation as to what happened.

According to the bride’s sister, @oyinkan214, she had her final exam after her Nikkah on her wedding day.

Nikkah is the Islamic marriage contract and ceremony. It is the formal and religious way for a Muslim couple to get married under Islamic law, also known as Sharia.

Words overlaid on the bride’s elder sister’s video read:

“The bride on her way to UNILORIN exam hall to do her final exam after the Nikkah on her wedding day latest bride in town plus awaiting corper.

“May almighty Allah be with u in ur new home, amen.”

People wondered why the bride had her wedding on the same day as her exam, and her sister explained:

“The exam date was changed after the wedding date was picked. That was what happened.”
