NYG Asaba 2025: Team Kwara wins two Medals in Karate

Awe David helped Team Kwara secure its first medal at the ongoing National Youth Games at Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, Delta State, after settling for silver in the Karate Kumite male (-50kg) category, THE PRIME NEWS reports.

Awe was narrowly defeated by Desmond Izengbuwa from Edo State.

Also, narrowly defeated by an Abia State opponent in the semi-final of the boys’ singles event in para-table tennis at the ongoing National Youth Games in Asaba, Delta State, the highly spirited Ridwan Mustapha of Team Kwara settled for the bronze medal.

Meanwhile, in Para-Table Tennis, despite sustaining a serious injury, Adam Ajayi won a Bronze Medal in the Male Category at the ongoing National Youth Games in Asaba, Delta State.

Kwara has secured one silver and one bronze medal in Karate.
