Billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, recently shared words of advice to his daughter, Temi, and her husband, singer Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, during their wedding reception.
Temi tied the knot with Mr Eazi in a private ceremony in Iceland in August 2025.

The couple had earlier hosted two other wedding ceremonies, one in Monaco on May 9, which coincided with Mr Eazi’s late mother’s birthday, and a Yoruba traditional wedding at the Otedola family home in Dubai in July.

In a now-circulating video from the reception that was held in August, Otedola praised the couple’s love and entrepreneurial spirit, describing their union as “made in heaven.”
He also advised Temi to prioritise her marriage above all else.

“You found a great guy, very great guy, blessed guy. He’s come from a very decent family. One thing I’ll advise you… you have to succumb to the whims and caprices of your husband. Okay? He’s your husband, he’s your boss. There’s no more dad, don’t call me up,” Otedola said.
He continued, “One thing I like about both of you and I’ve observed is, you’re truly in love with each other. Truly, truly in love with each other. Temi is an entrepreneur. Tosin is an entrepreneur. So you match each other.
“This is made in heaven. For Tosin, you’re going to go places. I’ve seen the entrepreneurial skill in you. When we were much younger, we used to think we used to hustle, but not like your generation. You are hustlers, real hustlers. And it’s always paid off. Continue to love, Temi.”
Otedola further advised the couple to handle disagreements privately.
“When you have issues, problems, just keep it within yourself. Never call any friend that have this problem. Just keep it within your walls. And God will bless you and bless your marriage.

Ending his speech, the billionaire presented a wedding gift for the couple, telling them,”I thought of what should I give this couple as a present. I thought, I’ve splintered my savings account. I brought my gift. This gift I present to you. You go out to the world. You’re both entrepreneurs. Out-think, out-manoeuvre, and out-spend. You’ll be great people. This is my gift for you.
“I thank you all and I wish you safe travels back to various places you’ve come from. God bless you all. I love you all.”
THE PRIME NEWS reports that following the wedding, Temi officially updated her surname from Otedola to Ajibade on social media, writing in her caption, “Mr and Mrs Ajibade.”
Her public adoption of her husband’s name has, however, reignited an old debate in Nigerian feminist circles over whether women should adopt their husband’s surname or keep their maiden names after marriage.
