Mariam Yusuf Aladi: Queen of the Kwara Assembly

The Honourable Member of Kwara State House of Assembly representing Ilorin South Constituency, Hon. Mariam Yusuf Aladi is a beauty personified with good character. She was appointed as the Deputy Chief whip in the 10th Assembly of Kwara State, unanimously.

Her carriage and comportment makes a loud statement of responsibilities, commitment, quintessential Public Servant, highly computer literate and verse in ICT, a cheerful disposition and dependable law maker that knows the challenges facing her constituency and addressing the challenges geometrically since year 2003 when the mantle of representation fell on her.

So far, she has given a good account of her stewardship as a legislator cum public administrator, grassroots politician and womanhood ambassador of a worthy character.

With a humble background, accomplished corporate personality the records of Hon. Mariam Yusuf Aladi are immaculate, an amiable politician that has a knack for precision and details. Overtime, she has learnt legislative languages and discipline, networking and making good contacts among her colleagues thereby achieving positive results without necessarily doing open lobbying in plenary.

Today, she has aided a lot of bills in the house that has changed a lot of narratives in public shares. Easy going, dresses to match without colour riot, humble, jovial signature personified and lovable personality.

This journalist could not resist her personality for a spotlight has she is immensely brimful of vision and she knew exactly what she wants in life. She is admired by many for her level of dynamism, competence, maturity and ability to deliver on her popular mandate without unnecessary resentment within her Constituency/in the House of Assembly/in Chamber.

As an excellent communicator and gregarious person, Hon. Mariam Aladi was Vice President, National Council of Women Society of Nigeria, Welfare Secretary; APC North Central Geo-Political Forum (AMAC Chapter), Treasurer; Karu Market Traders Association Abuja, FCT, Woman Leader; Arewa Trader’s Association, Abuja Chapter and Women Leaders’ Arewa Traders Association Support for Tinubu/Shetima.

She graciously served in the following committees;

Her accomplishments have brought to the front burner in public discourse for her outstanding representation and Excellence in service to humanity and the State.

An avid art collector, compassionate family woman whose hobbies are reading, meeting people, exchange of ideas, playing chess, she held on to herself with dignity and unbending purpose to improve her people’s social and economic life.

As she marches forward in her service to her people, three factors remain certain that she will continue to be relevant in her representation by not being a bench-warmer/sit-down-look/unnecessary becoming envious, she will be a resplendent example of what a Nigerian woman should be when in position of responsibility and finally, APC woman Ambassador that the Government and people of Kwara State will continue to be proud of holding her with high esteem and honor.
