I gave up on acting because of sex-for-role calls – Director Pink

Nigerian music video director, Praise Onyeagwalam, popularly known as Director Pink, has revealed why she gave up on pursuing her acting career.

THE PRIME NEWS reports that the award-winning cinematographer explained that the humiliation and sexual exploitation of aspiring actors made her quit that career path.

Director Pink added that being a music video director is also challenging, but she is willing to make sacrifices for the career.

She urged upcoming music video directors to be patient and embrace delayed gratification, stressing that it took those at the peak years to achieve their current status.
