CHT, Offa set to induct new graduands

The Department of Dispensing Opticionary of the Kwara State College of Health Technology, Offa will be holding its 7th Oath Taking and Induction Ceremony of newly qualified Opticians on Friday, 28th November, 2025 at the Dental Hall, in the College premises at 10:00am prompt.

At the epoch-making ceremony a lecture will be delivered by an erudite scholar Oluwole Gabriel Afolayan of the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare tagged: Vision for Development the Role of Opticianry in Nation Building.

The Chief Host of the ceremony is the CEO/Registrar, Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Registration Board of Nigeria, Dr. Obinna Edwin Awiaka, while the Provost of the College, Elder Ayanshola A. Benjamin, will play host at the occasion.

The Chairman, Association of Nigeria Dispensary Optician (ANDO), Kwara State Chapter, Optician Bello Abdullahi Olamilekan, is expected to grace the occasion of the 7th Oath Taking and Induction Ceremony personally.

Head of Dispensing Opticionary Department, Optician Ibrahim Liman Moshood, Ph.D, known for his hardwork and discipline assured that all efforts towards a hitch free programme is guaranteed, “all inductees, staffs, invitees, well-wishers/guardians/parents are employed to be sitted at 9:30am prompt,” he emphasized.
