“As you take this oath, you are entrusted with the responsibility of safeguarding lives, promoting preventive healthcare and serving communities with compassion, integrity and competence this is the admonition given to (330) new inductees @ the 3rd Oath-taking ceremony of the community health department of Kwara State College of Health Technology, Offa on Wednesday, 11th February, 2026” by the Provost Elder Benjamin Ayanshola.

The Veteran administrator appreciated the Executive Governor of Kwara State who doubles as the Visitor to the College, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, (CON), for his unwavering support to the College’s growth and advancement accreditation milestones, institutional growth and improved academic standard, he emphasized, “this are made possible through his purposeful leadership”.
The Provost acknowledged the activities his Directors and Heads of Department for their resilience, dedication, complete and ethical health standards at all times.

The Hon. Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Hajia Sa’adatu Modibbo Kawu who was ably represented by the Director, Health Institutions, Hajia Sherifat Giwa admonished the students to continue to be their best in their chosen profession. She assured them that hard work, passion, resilience and good behaviour will take them to commendable heights in the near future.

The amiable politician appreciated the college management for its towering efforts to see that most of the courses offered are fully accredited, “full accreditation for all courses from National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) are ongoing, this reflect our collective efforts to sustain quality education, professionalism and institutional integrity”, she emphasized.
The Registrar/CEO, Community Health Practitioner Registration Board of Nigeria (CHPRBN) Bashir Idris, PhD. In his speech reminded the inductees of professional integrity, accountability and service to humanity as Key to respectful care, non-discrimination, while competence is sustained through lifelong learning, digital literacy is no longer optional, health information management, disease surveillance, tele-support and improvements.

The Registrar rounded up by assuring Community Health Practitioner Registration Board of Nigeria (CHPRBN) commitment to protecting the public interest, elevating professional standards and supporting practitioners to thrive in a modern, ethical, and digitally enabled health system just as he charged the new inductees, “Be ambassadors of excellence in your communities, the competence and character of those who serve the public remains sacrosanct,” he advised.

The Head of Department Community Health of the College, Mrs. Christianah Olawumi Bamidele, known for her discipline and hard work appealed to Kwara State Government to consider giving job opportunities to their products, provide more equipment’s for effective learning, more classrooms, vehicles for practicals/field works with more financial support for training and retraining of lecturers, she appealed.
There was a cultural group that treated guests and audience to cultural melodies and dances that ignite praises/dances among the delightful audience.
