Eid-el Fitr: Let’s celebrate with gratitude, love – Deway

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State, Otunba Olabode Oyedepo (Deway) has charged Muslim faithful to celebrate this year’s Eid-el Fitr with gratitude and love.

Deway made this known in a statement he released on Thursday through Adebayo Olodan, his Special Assistant on Media.

He said, “I congratulate my Muslim brothers and sisters across the globe on the joyous conclusion of Ramadan, a sacred month of fasting, reflection and devotion.

“The last 30 days have been that of sacrifices, deep reflection, togetherness and spiritual devotion and l will urge us to continue in that trend.

“Meanwhile, as we celebrate Eid-el Fitr, l urge us all to celebrate with gratitude to Allah for his blessings and for preserving us till date. It is also important to show love to our family, neighbours, colleagues and the less privileged during this celebration.

Above all, we must sustain our good deeds and intentions during the holy month.

“As we celebrate Eid-el Fitr, it is my prayer that this celebration will bring light into your life and remove all darkness. May this Eid bring you and your family new hope.
Eid Mubarak to you all!”
