Hajj 2024: First batch of Kwara pilgrims numbering 313 arrives Ilorin

The first batch of pilgrims from Kwara State, who performed this year’s Hajj in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, have landed safely at the Babatunde Idi-Agbon International Airport, Ilorin.
Three hundred and thirteen (313) pilgrims, were on board an Air Peace flight Number APK 7911 which departed the King AbdulAzeez International Airport, Jeddah in Saudi Arabia at about twelve midnight Saudi Arabian time and  touched down at twenty-two minutes past seven on Friday morning in Ilorin.
The Pilgrims were led by two female officials of the state Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board; Hajia Ahmed Hassana Mariam and Hajia Otunyo Habibat.
Speaking with this medium, the Chairman,  Pilgrims Welfare Board, Professor Mashood Mahmud-Jimba assured that the remaining pilgrims  that they would be airlifted in accordance with the schedule of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).
It would be recalled that Kwara state airlifted a total of 3102 pilgrims for this year’s Hajj exercise.
