Kwara United To Participate in Douye Diri Preseason Soccer Tournament

Kwara United Football Club has affirmed its preparedness to take part in the Governor Douye Diri Preseason soccer tournament.

The club which is currently situated in Ikenne, engaging in intensive preparations for the upcoming season of the Nigeria Premier Football League NPFL, will on Sunday depart Ikenne for Yenagoa for the tournament.

Verifying the situation, the club’s general manager, Bashir Badawiy, expressed that the team’s involvement in the Douye Diri preseason signifies another endeavor by the management to elevate the club’s condition in anticipation of the league.

The competition is scheduled to occur at Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state, commencing from the 11th to the 18th of this month.

“We are set to partake in the Douye Diri Preseason soccer tournament in Bayelsa, showcasing a renewed determination and effort aimed at optimizing our club’s readiness as we look forward to the upcoming season,”added Badawiy.

Among the other prominent clubs expected to participate in the tournament are Enyimba, Akwa United, Bendel Insurance, Rivers United, Abia Warriors, Warri Wolves, Sunshine Stars, and the host Bayelsa United.
