Kwara United: Sports Commission Boss Mogaji explains delay in use of Main bowl for training

Mallam Bola Magaji, the Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission, has explained the circumstances surrounding the delay in Kwara United Football Club’s use of the main arena of the Kwara State Stadium Complex for their training sessions.

He clarified that the deferment in permitting the club to practice on the primary pitch was not deliberate, indicating that the postponement was imperative to finalize comprehensive repairs and maintenance on the field, as stipulated by the NPFL subsequent to the conclusion of the previous season.

During an impromptu visit to the team’s training ground on Tuesday, Magaji assured them that the maintenance work on the pitch has been successfully concluded, and the facility will be available for the club’s training sessions commencing on Thursday.

This schedule will afford the players the opportunity to acclimate themselves with the pitch ahead of their forthcoming home match this weekend.

Magaji also urged both new recruits and returning players to validate their capabilities and collaborate harmoniously to achieve the team’s objectives for the upcoming season.

He underscored the unwavering commitment of the sports commission, under his stewardship, to extend steadfast support to the team.

Earlier, Mallam Bashir Badawiy, the General Manager of Kwara United, conveyed his deep appreciation to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his unwavering support and dedication for the club, adding that his investment on the team is acknowledged.

While appreciating Mallam Bola Magaji for his assistance and show of love to the team, He affirmed the club’s eagerness to surpass their prior accomplishments in the imminent season.
