Kwara APC Governorship Aspirant and chieftain, Prof. Wale Sulaiman, CON, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of the Vice Chairman of APC Ajase Ward I, Mr. Olatunde Tunji, who passed away in the early hours of today.
In a condolence message, Prof. Sulaiman described the news of his death as shocking and painful, noting that the deceased was a loyal party man who remained committed to grassroots development through active political participation and advocacy.
He stated that until his passing, Mr. Olatunde Tunji was widely known as a dedicated leader who consistently spoke and acted in the interest of his people and the progress of the party.

According to Prof. Sulaiman, his recent interaction with the late party leader further demonstrated his devotion and commitment to advancing political development in Ajase Ward I.
“I had the opportunity to interact with him last week Friday with other Excos and Principal officers, and his passion for the growth of the party and the development of his community was very evident,” he said.
Prof. Sulaiman extended his heartfelt condolences to the immediate family of the deceased, the people of Oke-Iya community, the APC family in Irepodun Local Government Area, the Ajase Ward I leadership, and the entire APC family over the loss of one of their committed grassroots mobilizers.
He prayed that Almighty God repose the soul of the departed and grant the family and loved ones the strength to bear the irreparable loss.
