A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and governorship aspirant in Kwara State, Prof. Wale Sulaiman, has congratulated renowned academic, Prof. Mukaila Ayanda Aremu, on the successful delivery of his 299th inaugural lecture at the University of Ilorin.
In a congratulatory message, Prof. Sulaiman described the achievement as a significant academic milestone and a moment of pride for the University of Ilorin, Kwara State, and the Ilala community.
He commended Prof. Aremu, a Professor of Marketing and Provost of the Kwara State College of Education, Oro, for his sustained dedication to scholarship, research, and the advancement of knowledge in his field.

Sulaiman noted that the inaugural lecture, titled “Marketing: Small World, Big Consequences,” underscores Prof. Aremu’s intellectual depth and contributions to understanding the complexities of global marketing and innovation.
According to him, the scholar’s academic journey reflects discipline, excellence, and a strong commitment to education and national development.
He also praised Prof. Aremu’s leadership in academia, particularly his role as Provost, which he said has contributed to institutional growth, strengthened partnerships, and ongoing reforms in the college.
Describing him as a worthy ambassador of the Ilala community, Prof. Sulaiman said his achievements continue to inspire younger generations to pursue excellence and integrity.
“Your contributions have not only enriched the academic community but have also brought honour and recognition to our people,” he said.
Prof. Sulaiman prayed for continued good health, wisdom, and greater accomplishments for Prof. Aremu in his continued service to education and national development.
