Wale Sulaiman hailed for youth-centred vision ahead of 2027

An advocate for youth development and good governance, Ambassador Mutiu Funsho Aremu, has described APC governorship aspirant, Prof. Wale Sulaiman, as a visionary leader committed to empowering young people and driving sustainable development in Kwara State.

In a statement titled “Prof. Wale Sulaiman: A Visionary Leader Who Believes in the Power of Kwara Youths,” Aremu said Kwara State is at a critical stage in its political and developmental journey, requiring leadership that prioritises inclusive governance and long-term progress.

According to him, Prof. Sulaiman has continued to inspire hope among residents through his commitment to human capital development, youth empowerment and community advancement.

He noted that the governorship aspirant has consistently emphasised the role of youths as critical stakeholders in building a prosperous society, adding that his Prosperity Agenda places young people at the centre of governance and development.

Aremu said Prof. Sulaiman’s vision extends beyond campaign promises, describing it as a practical roadmap focused on quality education, entrepreneurship, technological innovation, job creation, skills acquisition and leadership development.

He added that the approach has continued to attract support from youths across the 16 local government areas of the state.

“One remarkable quality that distinguishes Prof. Wale Sulaiman is his belief in inclusiveness and participatory governance,” he said.

“He understands that governance succeeds when the voices of the people, especially the youths, are heard and respected.”

Aremu further described the APC aspirant as a symbol of competence, hope and progressive leadership, citing his record in humanitarian services, healthcare interventions, educational support and community development initiatives.

He said Prof. Sulaiman’s aspiration reflects a desire to advance development across sectors such as healthcare, agriculture, infrastructure, commerce, technology and youth empowerment.

According to him, the state requires a leader with global exposure, administrative competence and genuine concern for the welfare of the people, qualities he believes Prof. Sulaiman possesses.

He noted that many young people now see the governorship aspirant as a mentor and bridge-builder whose agenda offers hope to unemployed youths, artisans, entrepreneurs, students and professionals seeking people-oriented governance.

Aremu added that Prof. Sulaiman’s growing acceptance across the state is driven by public confidence in his ability to deliver responsible leadership and sustainable development.

“As Kwara prepares for another political transition, there is increasing support for leaders who are committed to unity, empowerment and progress,” he said.

He maintained that Prof. Sulaiman’s governorship ambition represents a broader movement for transformation and inclusive development in Kwara State.
