The Oniganmo of Ganmo Kingdom, His Royal Highness Oba Kamaldeen Jimoh Akanbi Oyewole Ajagungbade Ilufemiloye 15, has congratulated Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, on his historic turbaning as the Sardauna Ngeri of the Ilorin Emirate.
The traditional ruler conveyed his congratulations on behalf of himself, his family and the people of Ganmo in a statement issued by the Media Office of the Palace of the Oniganmo of Ganmo Kingdom on Wednesday, September 16, 2026.
Governor AbdulRazaq was turbaned by the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Council of Chiefs, His Royal Highness Dr Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR.

Oba Ajagungbade described the conferment of the prestigious traditional title as a well-deserved recognition of the governor’s contributions to the development, unity, peace and progress of Kwara State and the Ilorin Emirate.
The Oniganmo prayed that the new title would bring greater honour, blessings and prosperity to Governor AbdulRazaq and his family.
He further expressed the hope that the governor’s tenure as Sardauna Ngeri would strengthen the bonds of unity, peace and development across Kwara State.
The traditional ruler extended his heartfelt congratulations to Governor AbdulRazaq and his entire family, describing the occasion as a remarkable and historic milestone.
He wished the governor continued success and prayed for greater peace and prosperity for the people of Kwara State.
