Adewale Egbedun Emerged as Osun Speaker

History was made on the floor of Osun State House of Assembly on Tuesday as a 38-year-old member Adewale Egbedun, representing Odo-Otin State Constituency was elected Speaker.

Theliberationnews gathered that Egbedun emerged as the speaker following his nomination by Ibrahim Abiola of Irewole/Isokan constituency which was seconded by Areoye Samuel and unanimously agreed on by other members-elect.

Also, Akinyode Oyewusi, representing Ife North Constituency, was elected as the Deputy Speaker of the House.
