Saudi Authorities woo Ngolo Kante with €100m offer

Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante has reportedly received a big money offer from Saudi Arabia as his contract at Stamford Bridge expires this summer.

So far, there has been no progress on renewal talks, despite reaching a verbal agreement on fresh terms earlier in the year.

Several clubs from around Europe have remained in touch with the midfielder’s entourage as his situation develops but according to 90min, Kante has admirers in Saudi Arabia.

The report states that the 32-year-old has been approached over a big money move to the Middle East and is understood to be considering all his options,

Chelsea are preparing for a summer of extensive cull as they look to trim a bloated squad and with Mateo Kovacic close to a move to Manchester City, Kante could be another one on his way out of Stamford Bridge.

Kante however does not want to leave Chelsea and is waiting to see if the club offer him a new contract in the next 26 days before his current one is up. Chelsea remain undecided.

As of now Chelsea are 50/50 on whether to offer Kante a new contract due to his recent injury record. Movement is expected on the situation in the coming days.
