Engr. Abdulquawiy Olododo: Pivotal of Projects in Kwara State

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, (CON), Chairman, Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF) and the Sardauna of Ilorin Emirate appointed Engineer Abdulquawiy Abdulganiyu Olododo as the Honourable Commissioner for Works in the State, no doubt his appointment can best be described as a round peg in the round hole and was done in proper perspective. Of all the appointments made, that of Engineer Abdulquawiy Olododo is highly upheld by all and sundry and to date, he is the man of moment.

He is serving the government and people of Kwara State in that capacity creditably and excellently.

A very young vibrant person, a pivotal figure of many projects in Kwara State, a grassroots politician and amiable administrator who stands as a reference point in his public and private life.

Meeting him, you cannot but like him. Highly respectful, conscious of time, a young man of few words but loaded with action and very energetic.

He has handled the projects in the state with wisdom, upholding and achieving deadlines given by Mr. Governor and evaluating, monitoring result oriented public projects to logical conclusion.

It is a general consensus that Engineer Abdulquawiy Olododo has assisted Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON tremendously in translating his dreams in making Ilorin Master plan and indeed Kwara State infra structural developments a reality while delivering dividends of democracy to Kwarans practically and sincerely.

His commitment to quality service delivery and excellence remains non-negotiable leading a team of resourceful professionals.

With more than One Hundred and Twenty (120) road projects spread across the three (3) Senatorial Districts, rehabilitation of schools, building of Healthcare facilities, upgrading of former Civil Service Clinic into a full-fledged Hospital named after the Nations’ First Lady, Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, OON, Chairman, National Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), Abuja. Culverts, drainages, pavements, walkways are now adjoining our roads/streets in the metropolis with solar power lights with such demanding task. Abdulquawiy Olododo was not oblivious of the gigantic task ahead of him at seeing these signature projects come to fruition.

A person of integrity and hardwork who has carved a niche for Kwara youths in the mind of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Kwarans are stoically grateful to Oga Governor for the enviable achievements in Six (6) years of impactful and significant administration while the Honorable Commissioner for Works stands tall for the vital roles played in delivering the projects according to specifications and to time.

One of the Engineers on site that sought strict anonymity stated that “Engineer Abdulquawiy Olododo is a valuable contributor, seasoned Engineer and administrator, a very good team player with glittering credentials plus cheerful disposition. He is good for the job. He displayed exceptional leadership skills, commitment and dedication to the task on hand at all times”. While a female Honorable Commissioner said, “his responsibilities are quite enormous. I prayed for wisdom, strength, safe travels and more success in his duties. He is a richly endowed young administrator with high passion for service delivery”.

This journalist wholesomely appreciates Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, (CON), Chairman, Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF) and Sardauna Ilorin Emirate as a fine achiever across all sectors, he held tenaciously to his popular mandate while achieving his electoral promises. Among the standing pillar of this APC led administration in the state of Harmony is Engineer Abdulquawiy Olododo and others, so obvious.

The general consensus is that Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq will achieve more till the last day of his administration while the Honorable Commissioner for Works will continue to receive recognition and accolades for his fine efforts and inputs that will continue to endear him to Mr. Governor and the people of Kwara State in particular, Nigeria as a whole.

Indeed, Hon. Commissioner for Works, Engineer Abdulquawiy Olododo remains a Change Agent, functioning at higher optimal level and endearing himself through serve to the people as an ambassador of Youth, peace and symbol of hope of the society while enhancing public trust and confidence.

He is a committed family man, leads a simple, prayerful lifestyle and approachable as a civil administrator.
