The chairman of a leading Real Estate company in Kwara State, Darosa Properties Management and Construction Ltd, Honourable Makanjuola Yahaya Lanre Darosa, has added another feather to his cap, bagging an honourary Doctorate award in Ghana.
Darosa, a seasoned professional entrepreneur and political figure was decorated as Doctorate Fellow in Real Estate Development, public resources management and politics in West Africa by the Chartered Institute of Public Resources Management and Politics, Ghana.
According to the institute, Darosa merited the award following his immense contributions to the economy and political landscape of Africa.

The awardee, shortly after his decoration in Ilorin, the Kwara state capital, while speaking with the press expressed gratitude over the development saying he didn’t see it coming, thanking the institute for finding him worthy of the honour from the numerous of the real estate practitioner in Africa.
He described the award as the testament to his dedication and never say no spirit towards getting his desired goals even as he promised never to rest on his oars.
“Hon. Darosa, having looked into your delivery score card of Professional and worthy performance over the years In Creativity, Real Estate, Projects Management and Political landscapes, you have been adjudged credible to be inducted into the 2025 Hall of Fame of this Prestigious International Institute”.
Among the dignitaries that graced the event are the Deputy Chief of staff to the Executive Governor of Kwara state Princess Risikat, Ilorin West local Govt chairman, Hon. Babatunde AbdulRahman Ladan, APC chieftains across Kwara State, political groups business men, women and members of Chattered Institute of politics and public resources management Ghana.
