Graduands: Go forth and Excel – Provost

At the 2nd Induction and Oath taking ceremony for Higher National Diploma (HND) Graduates in Dental Technology of the Kwara State College of Health Technology, Offa, the Provost Elder Benjamin Ayanshola, JP charged the inductees to go forth and excel with dignity, excellence and confidence.

The College administrator charged them, “You are: Ambassadors of the College, champions of Kwara healthcare system, builders of Nigeria’s future in dental technology …Go into the world and make us proud”.

The Provost assured the general public that the department of Dental Technology will continue to witness continuous upgrade in their facilities and academic performance while excellence remains a culture and progress very certain.

The Registrar/CEO Dental Technologists Registration Board of Nigeria (DTRBN), Mr. Idris Ahmad Bappah recognized the distinguished Provost of the College, Elder Benjamin Ayanshola, JP, guest/guardians/parents/well-wishers and the inductees who has worked tirelessly to reach this meritorious feat, “this is a new chapter of service and responsibility”, he noted.

The Registrar upheld that, “this institution has remained committed to providing quality education, fostering innovation and nurturing the next generation of leaders in technology and healthcare”, he stated further, “Our inductees are not only equipped with technical competence but are also imbued with a profound sense of responsibility and commitment to serve their communities and humanity at large”, he assured.

Mr. Idris Ahmad Bappah admonished the inductees to be compassionate, discipline with ethical conduct while approaching the future with confidence, curiosity, a passion for continuous learning to enhance professional standard.

The Head of Department of Dental Technology, RDT Success Adebamiji Salami traced the academic journey of the inductees as transition from students of dental technologists to licensed practitioner who is entrusted with the responsibilities associated with this regulated and highly specialised profession. He thanked the Registrar of Dental Technologists Registration Board of Nigeria (DTRBN) for the training and regulation of dental technologists nationwide while adhere to global standards, “reaffirms the importance of professional oversight, ethical conduct and competence in safeguarding the oral health of the Nigerian populace”, he noted.

He charged the inductees to uphold the highest ethical standards, integrity, diligence and professionalism at all times, “the trust reposed in you by patient, dentist, regulatory authorities and society must never be taken for granted”.

Tuesday, 9th December, 2025 will remain indelible in the minds of all those that witnessed the epoch-making induction ceremony of Dental Technology (HND) graduates of Kwara State College of Health Technology, Offa, the Registrar/Secretary to Governing Council of the College, Alhaji Soliudeen Babatunde said.

He assured that the College is well positioned to deliver on its core mandate of producing healthcare practitioners in different fields of the nation’s health sector.
