…Kwara JUSUN rejoices
The Kwara State Government (KWSG) has presented a brand-new 2025 Toyota Corolla Cross to a former Chief Registrar of the Kwara State Shariah Court of Appeal, Hajia Hassanat Olaperi Mustapha, in recognition of her years of dedicated and meritorious service to the state judiciary.
The presentation ceremony, which took place at the Sharia Court of Appeal premises, was part of the state government’s ongoing commitment to rewarding excellence, integrity and long service among public servants who have contributed meaningfully to the growth and stability of the judicial system.

Hajia Mustapha commended for her professionalism, diligence and unwavering commitment throughout her years in service. He noted that the gesture reflects the administration’s resolve to appreciate hardworking retirees and motivate serving officers to remain committed to their duties.
According to the government, Hajia Mustapha distinguished herself as Chief Registrar of the Shariah Court of Appeal through transparency, efficiency and strict adherence to due process, earning the respect of judicial officers, legal practitioners, and court staff alike.

In her response, Hajia Mustapha expressed profound gratitude to the Kwara State Government for the honour, describing the gesture as a rare and humbling recognition of her service. She thanked Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for prioritizing the welfare of public servants and retirees, and prayed for continued success of the administration.
She further encouraged serving judicial staff to remain dedicated, upright and committed to justice delivery, stressing that hard work and integrity do not go unnoticed.
The presentation of the 2025 Toyota Corolla Cross underscores the Kwara State Government’s policy of institutional appreciation and its broader agenda of promoting morale, accountability, and excellence within the public service.

Meanwhile, the Judicial Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN), Kwara State Chapter, has applauded Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, over the Toyota Corolla Cross 2025 model presented to the outgoing Chief Registrar of Sharia Court of Appeal, Hajia Hassanat Olaperi Mustapha.
Kwara JUSUN in a statement jointly signed by its Chairman and Public Relations Officer, Comrade
Habeeb Agboola Yusuf and Comrade Aliu Ahmad Gold, respectively, described the gesture as a reward for the over three decades dedicated service and unblemished record of Hajia Mustapha, in the Kwara State Judiciary and particularly Sharia Court of Appeal.
The statement reads partly, “On behalf of executives and members of the Kwara State JUSUN, we profoundly want to appreciate our amiable Governor, His Excellency, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, for presenting a vehicle as a partying gift to the outgoing Chief Registrar of Sharia Court of Appeal, Hajia Hassanat Olaperi Mustapha.
“This gesture is a commendable part of the state government’s ongoing efforts to equip senior judicial staff with reliable transportation, thereby enhancing their capacity to perform official duties efficiently and ensuring the timely delivery of justice to the people of Kwara State.
“We congratulate Hajia Mustapha for her firm dedication, exemplary leadership, and steadfast support for the union during her tenure. We particularly appreciate her deliberate efforts in unapologetically supporting our advocacies for the welfare and interests of our members.
“The outgoing Chief Registrar served the Kwara State Judiciary diligently for 35 years with an untainted record and presenting her with a car just before her retirement is a befitting partying gift from His Excellency.
“Earlier, the beneficiary, Hajia Mustapha applauded Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for duly rewarding her many years of meritorious service to the State Judiciary.
Hajia Mustapha however prayed that Allah will continue to strengthen Governor AbdulRazaq to record many more achievements in Kwara State.
The presentation of the vehicle was done by the Grand Kadi of Sharia Court of Appeal, Hon. Justice Abdullateef Kamaldeen, on Monday at the court premises and in the presence of Hon. Justice Mas’ud Adebayo Oniye, Hon. Justice Sharafudeen Hannafi and other staff of the establishment.
