Hon. Halidu Abdullahi Danbaba’s effective representation, provision of democracy dividends to his constituents

Honourable Halidu Abdullahi Danbaba is a member of the Kwara State House of Assembly, representing Kaiama/Kemanji/Wajibe Constituency in the 9th and current 10th Assembly, under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

A vibrant and seasoned politician/lawmaker/stakeholder/administrator and a senior party member. He has performed creditably and excellently well in lawmaking, legislation and oversight functions. A standing pillar of the APC administration in Kwara State and a good team player.

The Eagle Eye searchlight beacons on this illustrious personality and hardworking parliamentarian. Since year 2019, when he assumed representation of his people, he has changed the narratives for good, with accountability as his watchword, he has a two way communication channel that encourages feedback from his constituency. These are among the mechanisms deployed and adopted by the amiable politician.

In his words, “My experience has been exciting, very challenging and enduring. I have made water/electricity/healthcare/grading and re-grading of rural feeder roads/schools/social welfare/empowerment at various levels a priority while getting to deep down grassroots.”

No doubt, Hon. Halidu Abdullahi Danbaba has impacted positively on the lives of his constituents.

The parliamentarian added, “Water is Life, I have provided motorized boreholes/hand pumps to my people at the shortest distance in different locations within my constituency, Kaiama township also benefited immeasurably in view of its soaring population.

More communities, according to the legislator have been connected to the national grid to make life more meaningful and bearable in his seven (7) years of parliamentary activities. In the area of education, PTA fees had been abolished, JAMB forms are purchased and distributed to students to encourage tertiary education among indigent students, while more students (primary and secondary) are mobilized to participate in National, State and Local quiz competitions in different subjects, to give them courage to face the public squarely.

It’s an obvious fact that Kaiama Council Area is an Agrarian Community. Agriculture is getting noticeable developments to the benefits of the hardworking farmers with the provision of more tractors, free fertilizer, herbicides and insecticides across the council area with medical outreach in various healthcare centres to attend promptly to human health challenges.

A trusted politician with great ideals, Hon. Halidu Abdullahi Danbaba makes sports & youth development a priority at all times. He has provided different sports wears which include jerseys, Balls, boots to various clubs and organized sports tournament on annual basis.

The traditional institution has been given their due recognition and respect, most times, financial support is given during ceremonies/festivities. The legislator also has cash empowerment programme, he has facilitated several and series of appointments into Federal and State MDAs for Kaiama youths; he also facilitated the Military and Para-Military enrollment for the youths in recent times.

The amiable politician thanked Federal and State governments on Kishi-Kaiama Road project, Kaiama-Wawa Road for giving it a top priority in the APC led administration, “Thumbs up for Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON on the Adeogun-Bode Saadu-Kaiama Road Tax Credit Scheme that is going on steadily. I also appreciate the courage of my Oga, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq at making the road project meaningful despite the economic challenges,” he added that, “no doubt, APC led administration in the state of harmony by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON has laid a solid foundation for socio-economic growth and stable political life to the delight of all and sundry,”
