Kwarans recall PWS’s agricultural intervention as foundation for 2027 Agenda

The people of Kwara State are reflecting on the agricultural intervention of Prof. Wale Sulaiman, CON, describing it as a significant step that restored hope among local farmers and laid the groundwork for a broader development vision ahead of the 2027 elections.

At a time many peasant farmers faced challenges and dwindling prospects, Sulaiman is said to have stepped in with timely support, providing essential farming tools and resources to boost productivity.

The intervention, according to beneficiaries and observers, not only empowered farmers at the grassroots but also rekindled confidence in agriculture as a viable means of livelihood.

Many farmers noted that the support helped ease their burdens and improved their capacity to cultivate and harvest, ultimately contributing to local food production and economic stability.

Stakeholders have described the initiative as a practical demonstration of Sulaiman’s commitment to people-centered development, particularly in the agricultural sector, which remains a key driver of Kwara’s economy.

They added that the intervention has become a reference point in conversations around the proposed “Kwara Prosperity Agenda 2027,” with agriculture expected to play a central role in job creation and sustainable growth.

Observers believe that such initiatives, if scaled up, could transform rural communities, reduce unemployment, and strengthen food security across the state.

As political activities gradually build toward 2027, Sulaiman’s agricultural outreach continues to be cited as an example of how targeted interventions can impact lives and shape long-term development strategies in Kwara State.
