Kwara 2027: Kwara South Youth group endorses Wale Sulaiman for Gov

A youth group under the aegis of Kwara South Youth for Professor Wale Sulaiman (KSY4PWS) has officially endorsed Prof. Wale Sulaiman, CON, for the position of Governor of Kwara State ahead of the 2027 elections.

In a statement, the group expressed its full support for Prof Sulaiman, citing his consistent commitment to youth empowerment, education and community development across the state.

According to the group, the governorship aspirant has demonstrated a track record of impactful interventions, particularly in creating opportunities for young people.

They noted that he facilitated dozens of federal government job placements for Kwara youths, provided JAMB scholarships and supported admissions as well as educational funding for students in tertiary institutions.

Beyond education, the group highlighted Sulaiman’s support for artisans, entrepreneurs, and market women through financial assistance, as well as his contributions to agriculture by providing tools and farm inputs to local farmers.

They also commended his efforts in the health sector, especially his sponsorship of free cataract and glaucoma surgeries for residents, describing the initiative as a testament to his humanitarian disposition.

The group said these interventions reflect Prof Sulaiman’s passion for service and his dedication to improving the lives of Kwarans, particularly at the grassroots level.

“As youths of Kwara South, we are proud to stand behind a leader defined by integrity, vision, and compassion. We believe he has the capacity to lead the state toward greater development,” the statement read.

The group further called on residents across the state to support Sulaiman’s governorship ambition, expressing confidence that his leadership would usher in a new era of inclusive growth and sustainable development in Kwara State.
