2027: Kwara Central Youths back Wale Sulaiman, advocate continuity, transformational leadership

A coalition under the banner of Kwara Central Youths for Professor Wale Sulaiman has declared its support for the governorship ambition of Prof. Wale Sulaiman, while also calling for unity and continuity in leadership at both the state and national levels ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a statement signed by its coordinator, Hamzat Agboola Abdullahi, the group urged Nigerians to support the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that his administration’s Renewed Hope agenda remains vital to strengthening the country’s development trajectory.

Focusing on Kwara State, the youths expressed strong confidence in Prof. Sulaiman’s capacity to lead, describing him as a candidate whose integrity, competence and commitment to service set him apart in the race for the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship ticket.

They said his vision for development aligns with the ongoing efforts of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, stressing that his leadership would not only sustain existing gains but also expand opportunities for growth and inclusive development across the state.

According to the group, Prof. Sulaiman’s track record in healthcare, education, and community development reflects a practical approach to governance, with a focus on improving lives and empowering young people.

They further appealed to APC stakeholders and decision-makers to prioritise merit, proven leadership capacity, and global exposure in selecting the party’s candidate, noting that Kwara requires a leader capable of managing complex governance challenges.

Highlighting their support as a reflection of unity and fairness, the Kwara Central youths noted that backing a candidate from another senatorial district demonstrates their commitment to collective progress over sectional interests.

They reaffirmed their belief in Prof. Sulaiman’s development agenda, expressing optimism that his leadership would usher in a new phase of growth and opportunity for the state.

The group concluded by calling on Kwarans to embrace unity, continuity and purposeful leadership as the state prepares for the 2027 elections.
