As the Eid-el-kabir festival is in the air with its funfair while agog with it activities, Ilorin Emirate Secretary and trusted aide to the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Sumaila Adetunji Lawal has admonished Muslim faithful’s to celebrate with absolute moderation and care for their neighbours.
The committed and respected palace administrator emphasized the need to be prudent in celebration and expenses, he said, “After the Eid-el-Kabir festival, our family budget must not be distorted, as feeding, school fees, daily needs and regular family expenses will continue to surface for immediate attention, hence, caution on lavish spending must be implored.
He enjoined Muslims not to deviate from the teaching of the Holy Prophet Muhammad on the essence of Eid-el-Kabir celebration by giving neighbours and the needy in our society.

The Emirate Council Secretary, Alhaji Sumaila Adetunji Lawal admonished that we should move closer to Almighty Allah at all times and avoid actions that were against his will and commandment.
“Economic and social life are quite difficult, we should stay out of trouble and be good citizens”
He called on all Muslims in the Emirate to use the Eid-Kabir celebration to pray for the unity and progress of the entire Ilorin Emirate and peaceful co-existence of all ethnic groups under the wise guidance of His Royal Highness Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, CFR, Emir of Ilorin.
The Secretary, admonished parents/Guardians to keep watching their children properly from keeping bad friends and be their brothers keeper at all times while informing the security agencies of strange faces/movement in their neighborhood/communities. “I say Barka-da-Sallah to the entire Muslims in the Emirate”. he concluded.
