“Let’s be prayerful while keep hope alive” – Ilorin Emirate Secretary

The Ilorin Emirate Secretary & trusted aide to the Emir of Ilorin, His Royal Highness, Mai Martaba Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, CFR, Alhaji Sunmaila Adetunji Lawal has admonished the people of Ilorin Emirate Council to be very prayerful while keeping hope alive.

Hear his words, “Obviously times are hard/ things are very difficult economicallywhile our people are battling with insecurity.

The country is passing through tough times ranging from business(es) collapsing, small business thriving to survive, lack of job(s), the labour market highly saturated, insecurity, government policies & programmes not aligning with people’s needs/welfare, indeed, we have lost our sleep, we must resolve to fervent prayers and keep hope alive, trusting Almighty Allah that there will be prosperity in the Land soon”. The palace Administrator assured.

Speaking with journalist in his office at the Palace, Oja-Oba, Ilorin, the secretary asserted that we face realities of our time by being our brothers keeper at all times and be security conscious.

Alhaji Adetunji Lawal appealed to the people to be watchful as the rain sets in, “We should be more careful, guard our children properly & keep safe while not blocking our drainages with dirt’s, he emphasized.

He stated further, “Mr. Governor should provide avenue/for interactions/civil engagements/village square/Radio Phone-in-programme that encourages feedback to feel the pulse of the people directly – APC administration should embrace every possible way(s) to interface with the people.

The Secretary Ilorin Emirate urged all religious, traditional & political leaders to always advise their congregation, communities & lieutenants on the need to embrace peaceful co-existence, be security conscious at all times and be good citizenry in our society. He concluded.
