‎2027: Why Oyinloye Benjamin Dairo is emerging as the people’s choice for Share/Oke-Ode Constituency

‎As political activities gradually gather momentum ahead of the 2027 Kwara State House of Assembly election, discussions about credible and effective representation have begun to dominate conversations across Share/Oke-Ode Constituency.

‎Among the names attracting increasing attention is Oyinloye Benjamin Dairo, popularly known as Daddy Ben, whose supporters believe he possesses the qualities needed to provide purposeful leadership.

‎For many residents, effective representation goes beyond occupying a legislative seat. It requires someone who understands the everyday realities of the people and is willing to champion their interests at the state legislature.

‎Supporters argue that Dairo fits that description, citing his longstanding relationship with the grassroots and his commitment to community development.

‎As an indigene of the constituency, Dairo is said to have firsthand knowledge of the challenges confronting the people, including poor rural road infrastructure, inadequate healthcare services, limited educational opportunities and youth unemployment.

‎His admirers believe this familiarity with local issues positions him to advocate practical policies and attract meaningful development to the constituency.

‎Beyond his understanding of the community’s needs, Dairo is widely described by supporters as a man of integrity, humility and discipline who has demonstrated leadership through various community-based initiatives even before venturing into partisan politics.

‎They say his style of leadership is anchored on consultation, noting that he listens to the concerns of residents and seeks practical solutions rather than making unrealistic promises.

‎Supporters also contend that the Kwara State House of Assembly requires lawmakers who can effectively combine lawmaking with oversight responsibilities while ensuring their constituencies receive adequate attention in budget allocations and development projects.

‎They believe Dairo possesses the strategic thinking and collaborative approach required to deliver on these expectations.

‎Youth empowerment and economic development remain key pillars of the vision attributed to the aspirant. According to his supporters, Dairo is passionate about creating opportunities for young people through skills acquisition programmes, entrepreneurship support, agricultural development and improved access to microcredit for small businesses.

‎They argue that such initiatives would not only reduce unemployment but also stimulate economic growth within Share and Oke-Ode, enabling more residents to build sustainable livelihoods without migrating to urban centres.

‎As the countdown to the 2027 elections continues, many political observers believe the contest will be determined by candidates’ capacity, accessibility and commitment to public service.

‎For supporters of Oyinloye Benjamin Dairo, those qualities make him the preferred choice to represent Share/Oke-Ode Constituency in the Kwara State House of Assembly.

‎They maintain that his combination of grassroots connection, leadership experience and development-driven agenda places him in a strong position to provide the effective representation the constituency seeks.
