The National President of the Ora Community Development Council (OCDC), Engr. Azeez Abiodun Olaniyan, has congratulated the Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the National Agricultural Land Development Authority (NALDA), Engr. Segun Adebayo on the occasion of his second anniversary in office.
Speaking on behalf of the Olora of Ora, His Royal Highness, Oba Rilwan Yekini Sakonbari I, the Olora-in-Council and the entire people of Ora and its surrounding communities, Olaniyan commended Engr. Adebayo for what he described as two years of visionary leadership, innovation and unwavering commitment to advancing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s food security agenda.
In a congratulatory statement issued on Tuesday, the OCDC President noted that NALDA has recorded significant progress under Adebayo’s leadership by repositioning agriculture as a catalyst for economic growth, youth empowerment and rural development across Nigeria.

He identified the establishment of the Ora NALDA Mega Farm Estate as one of the administration’s most remarkable achievements, describing it as a transformative project that has brought renewed hope and economic opportunities to the Ora community and neighbouring communities in Kwara South.
According to him, the mega farm estate has become a symbol of modern, mechanised and sustainable agriculture, with the potential to generate employment, improve food production and enhance the livelihoods of local farmers.
“We in Ora Community are deeply grateful for this landmark opportunity.

The Ora NALDA Mega Farm Estate is not just another government project; it is a lasting legacy that will create jobs for our youths, empower farmers, boost food production and place Ora prominently on Nigeria’s agricultural map,” Olaniyan said.
He further stated that the community remains fully committed to supporting the successful implementation and long-term sustainability of the project, assuring NALDA of the cooperation of traditional institutions and residents.
The OCDC President also praised Engr. Adebayo for his accessibility, grassroots-oriented leadership and commitment to making agriculture more attractive and profitable for young Nigerians.
He said the achievements recorded by the agency over the past two years demonstrate that strategic leadership can unlock the vast potential of Nigeria’s agricultural sector.

As Engr. Adebayo celebrates his second year in office, Olaniyan offered prayers for God’s continued guidance, wisdom, good health and protection for the NALDA boss, while reaffirming the Ora Community Development Council’s unwavering support for his leadership and the continued success of the Ora Mega Farm Estate for the benefit of the community and the nation.
