Kwara Utd: Fakayode applauds appointment of Coach Ojokojo

The Founder of the JAFAK Initiative, Prince Lanre Fakayode, has applauded the appointment of Oladipo Adekeye (widely known as Ladi Ojokojo) as the Chief Coach of Kwara United ahead of the 2026/2027 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Season.

Fakayode, who is the sponsor of the most anticipated grassroots football competition in the state; JAFAK Cup, described the appointment of Coach Ojokojo as a step in the right direction for the Harmony Boys.

In a statement he released at the weekend, the successful businessman said, “Ladi Ojokojo is a grassroots coach who recorded remarkable feats with the Kwara Football Academy especially with the U-15 team. He also provide technical support to various teams and competitions including the JAFAK Cup.

“Aside his amazing knowledge of football at the grassroots, Coach Ojokojo has a unique way of connecting and relating with his players. Such qualities will be needed as Kwara United prepare for the new season.”

Speaking further, Fakayode added that Coach Ojokojo will provide valuable support to the Technical Adviser, Ashifat Suleiman.

According to him, Kwara United will not have to face relegation battle like they did last season with a coach like Ojokojo combining efforts with Ashifat Suleiman on the bench.

He however urged the management of the club to wholeheartedly support the coaches starting by recruiting requisite quality players for the team in record time.
