Oniganmo receives Sunday Igboho during courtesy visit to royal palace

‎The Oniganmo of Ganmo has received Yoruba activist and leader, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, during a courtesy visit to the royal palace in Ganmo, Kwara State, THE PRIME NEWS reports.

‎The visit, which took place on Thursday evening, was described by the palace as a historic occasion, attracting traditional rulers, community leaders, and well-wishers who gathered to witness the meeting.

‎During the visit, the Oniganmo offered prayers for Chief Sunday Igboho, asking Almighty Allah to bless him with long life, sound health, divine wisdom, abundant grace and protection in all his endeavours.

‎The monarch also prayed for lasting peace, security, unity and prosperity in Kwara State, Yorubaland and Nigeria.

‎According to a statement issued by the Media Office of the Palace of the Oniganmo of Ganmo on Thursday, the visit strengthened the spirit of unity and reaffirmed the importance of preserving the Yoruba cultural heritage.

‎The palace noted that the gathering reflected the commitment of traditional institutions and community leaders to promoting peaceful coexistence and cooperation among the people.

‎The Oniganmo wished Chief Sunday Igboho a safe return journey and success in his future engagements, expressing hope that the visit would further enhance understanding, harmony and collaboration across Yorubaland.
