The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has announced that its 2026/2027 Pre-Admission Screening Exercise, popularly known as the Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME), will hold from Thursday, August 13, to Saturday, August 15, 2026.
The announcement was contained in a statement issued on Friday by the University’s Director of Corporate Affairs, Mr. Kunle Akogun.

According to the statement, the University’s Admissions Officer, Mr. AbdulKareem Kunle Sanni, advised candidates who have successfully completed their screening registration to begin printing their examination slips from Monday, August 10, 2026.
Sanni urged applicants to print their examination slips promptly in order to confirm their examination dates, time, and venue.
He also reminded prospective candidates that the registration portal for both UTME and Direct Entry applicants would close on Sunday, August 9, 2026, urging all eligible candidates who are yet to register to do so before the deadline.
The University noted that no further registration would be entertained after the closure of the portal and encouraged applicants to complete all admission-related processes within the stipulated timeframe through the institution’s official admissions portal.
THE PRIME NEWS reports that the management reiterated that the Post-UTME screening exercise would be conducted over three days, from August 13 to August 15, 2026, and advised candidates to adhere strictly to the schedule indicated on their examination slips.
The University further urged all applicants to regularly monitor its official communication channels for updates and other important information relating to the 2026/2027 admission exercise.
The 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), was held between April 16 and April 25, 2026, with successful candidates now proceeding to the Post-UTME stage of the admission process.
