‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ set the domestic box-office bell ringing as it earned a whopping amount of USD 120.5 million in its first week.
It became the year’s second biggest opening weekend after “The Super Mario Bros. Movie”, which earned USD 146 million. It also became the third-biggest opening weekend for any “Spider-Man” movie.

The animated sequel of “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” enjoyed rave reviews. The 2018’s Oscar-winning film introduced Miles Morales and came out with the idea of ‘anyone can wear the mask’, but it could earn only USD 35.5 million in the first week.
Directed by Kemp Powers, Joaquim Dos Santos and Justin K. Thompson, the film narrates the story of Miles and Gwen Stacy as they try to save fellow Spider-People from villain Spot. Shameik Moore and Hailee Steinfeld have voiced Miles and Gwen respectively.
What out for A sequel to the film entitled Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse will be released in 2024.
