Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen scored a brace in the first half as Galatasaray beat Bodo/Glimt 3-1 in match day three in the Champions League on Wednesday.
The Nigerian striker scored twice in the first half, opening the scoring in the 3rd minute with a clinical right-footed finish from a Mario Lemina pass, and doubling the lead in the 33rd minute after capitalising on a defensive error by Bodø/Glimt’s Fredrik André Bjørkan.
Yunus Akgün added a third goal in the 60th minute, while Andreas Helmersen scored a late consolation for Bodø/Glimt in the 74th minute.

Osimhen’s brace marked his seventh consecutive European match with a goal, a historic feat for Galatasaray, and brought his Champions League tally to 11 goals. The win keeps Galatasaray competitive in the group stage.
